Generate a screen
Generate an individual screen from a description, an existing screen, or both, so you can build content without starting from scratch.
As well as generating whole courses, you can generate a single screen with AI, based on a description you write, an existing screen you point it at, or a combination of both. AI can generate these screen types: Text and image, Accordion, Process, Flashcards, and Checklist.
Generate a screen
- In the course editor, select + Add screen and choose the screen type you want.
- Choose Generate screen (rather than Start from scratch).
- Give the AI something to work from:
- Enter a description of the content you want, and/or
- Choose one or more reference screens to guide the structure and style.
- Select Generate. AI creates the screen, with related images, ready for you to review and edit.
The three ways to generate a screen
- Description only: AI builds the screen from your prompt. Best when you know the content but have nothing to reference.
- Reference screen(s) only: one screen is transformed into a different screen type while keeping its core message; several screens are merged into one new screen.
- Description and reference together: AI prioritises your description and uses the reference screens as extra context, which keeps the result consistent with your existing content.
