Sentiment

Course sentiment is the feedback learners leave on the last screen of your course. To see it, click the three dots beneath the course card and view the course's overall sentiment.

Completion and progress tell you whether people got through a course. Sentiment tells you how they felt about it. It's the feedback your learners or audience give on the final screen of a course, gathered into an overall view so you can gauge whether the training landed well.

How to see a course's sentiment

  1. On your dashboard, find the course you want.
  2. Click the three dots beneath the course card.
  3. View the overall sentiment for that course.

How to read it

Use sentiment alongside your other results. A course with strong completion but weak sentiment might be getting people through without engaging them, which is a sign to revisit the content. A course with positive sentiment but low completion points more to length or pacing. Reading the two together gives you a fuller picture than either on its own.

Frequently asked questions

Where does sentiment come from?

From the feedback learners give on the last screen of the course. If learners aren't reaching the end, you'll have less sentiment data to work with.

Is sentiment tied to individual learners?

Sentiment is shown as an overall view for the course. Whether individual responses are identifiable depends on whether those learners were identified when they took the course.
